We are located between Pardeeville and Portage, Wisconsin. We live on a beautiful, quiet country setting with many country acres. Amongst the wildlife and dogs here, we love to spend our time retrieving and swimming with our labs on our 65 Acre country property. Here at Dutch Acres, we strive to produce Genetically HEALTH TESTED pups with excellent temperament and conformation. It is our love for dogs and life long passion that helped create Dutch Acres. We have been reputable breeders of Labrador retrievers for the past 26 years. We take great pride in the puppies that we produce.
We have Yellow Labs that range from White to Fox Red (deep copper) as well as Chocolate and Black Labradors.

All of our lab puppies derive from registered AKC parents. At Dutch Acres, each litter of pups is planned carefully. When lab pups are ready to go to their new homes, they are:
HOW PUPS GET PICKED
Most of Dutch Acres' litters are spoken for before they are 7 weeks old. Lab pups don't start showing personality till they are around 6 weeks old, so GENERALLY we schedule you (in order of your "pick") to come pick out and pick up your new pup the 1st Saturday after they are 7 weeks old. We will not hold a puppy unless it has a $200 deposit placed on it.
After the pups receive their first vaccinations, the buyer(s) are contacted to set up a day and time to come and "pick out" their pup. If the buyer is unable to make a pick in person, we can certainly send photos and allow the buyer make their choice via email photos. If the buyer cannot make their choice within the specified amount of time (usually 1/2 hr) the seller allows, the buyer will then forfeit that position of pick to the next buyer. |

We also provide stud service to approved females. We have different males to choose from. Check out the "Male Labs" page to see information on the males and their stud fees.

We do accept non-refundable deposits to place pups on hold prior to them being old enough to go to their new homes. We also accept deposits on upcoming litters. We now accept credit cards through email/paypal (must add 4% for service fees).
All pups are sold on limited registration unless agreed upon with breeder. Full registration allows an owner to breed and register pups produced by the parent to be registered with AKC as well. Generally, FULL AKC Registration can be purchased (to approved breeders) for an additional $700- $1000 (depending on the litter).
All of our pups' parents are on site for you to see in advance. When you come to look for a new addition to your family, you can meet the parents of the pups in person.
