We bought 2 adult dogs from this breeder. We are very, very happy with both of them. They are both very sweet and friendly and smart. I would recommend them to anyone

About two years ago I bought a pup from Dutch Acres. I just wanted to write this to say that the temperament of my dog is absolutely amazing. I couldn't ask for a dog with a better temperament. This is a testament to the breeder. Also, since I live in Louisiana and Dutch Acres is in Wisconsin, Jan made the entire process very easy. She sent plenty of pictures answered any questions I had.

Abby (first pick Remy litter) got her first physical today and she is healthy as can be! She is very happy and eating well, I am home with her all day so she is never lonely. She weighed in at 10.3 pounds. Doc Gerber (Columbus Countryside Vet Clinic) said she is a beautiful lab puppy and I told him about Dutch Acres. He said he hasn't heard about you, but he was VERY impressed with the paperwork you provided, the pills you had us give Abby, and the quality of the dog she is. He just kept saying what a perfect puppy she seems to be. Thank you very much for everything,
Well once again you guys have made our family very happy. Our Copper and the new little man who we named Shadow are doing great. Ya I know we are not very original with names...HA HA. We were wondering if you could email us back the info you had on line of your friends dogs. We just like to have how big they are and so on. If you could email us the pics that you had on your web site too we would much appreciate it. We just like to put them on the wall with our new little guy. We make a little plaque for them. Thank you once again.
We just wanted to let you know that the pup that we bought from you on Fri 01/29/10 is doing great. He ate and drank that night already was playing with the kids and us. Dale took him to the vet today and he received his shot and a good report. Over all in good health. We just wanted to thank you for a great pet and we would recommend you to anyone.

HI Scott,
Just thought I would drop you a quick note to fill you in on how Diesel is doing and to say "THANK YOU." Diesel is just an amazing dog and has quickly become a huge part of our family. He is the first thing the girls ask about in the morning and they refuse to go to bed without his kisses good night.

We are so pleased with our (white) lab puppy, Dutch. He is 18.5 weeks now and growing in leaps and bounds. What a beautiful build, color and temperment. Wherever we go people stop and ask us where we got him - they actually stop and write it down, hope they come your way!
He potty trained quickly, communicates and behaves extremely well and swims like a fish, not to mention that he would retrieve all day if you let him. We are told often he has a great temperment which of course starts with the great foundation you provided to him in the beginning (so important).
Thanks again - we will keep you updated. Best to you and your family

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that we purchased a pup from you in June of 2010 from a litter of Stella and Clifford and named him Odin. Our dog Odin has just passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and will now be accompanying me to school as a pet therapy dog. He is a great dog and are so pleased.

Update on Red (Magic and Elmo's boy)
He's 11 weeks now and a big 19#. Growing like a lab one could say! He is the favorite in puppy class, much for behavior, and the rest for just his good looks. Loves wings. A retrieving machine. Took him out and shot the 22 a bit last weekend, started far out and followed him as he brought me right up to my husband who was firing. Adding boom this next weekend.
Thanks for some quality breeding of smart handsome stock. Whatever you are doing to start these guys, keep it up. He's the easiest pup we've ever had. Great personality, ambitious, but not crazy. Probably helps that he has care inside the house almost full time. However, he at least has some nice genes to work with!
Take Care.

Hi Scott,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to say THANK YOU!!! Jordan Rose (aka Jordy) has been a perfect addition to our family and an absolute joy; so easy to train and a real lover. Although she is my first lab, she is my husband Kevin’s third. He has said numerous times that she is turning out to be the best “one” yet. Jordy was the 5th and last female pick from a Halo and Nitro litter and is a good reminder to all that sometimes the “best is saved for last”.
Take care and thank you again!!!
Wanted to give an update of our new puppy from the Stella/Elmo litter. He has been very easy to train! He knew the basic commands within the first week of bringing him home. He is 12 weeks old now and walks well on the leash and is completely house trained. We will definitely refer others if they are looking for labs with a great temperament. Our puppy is a great addition to our family! Thanks so much! Christie

Hi Scott,
Hi, Scott
My wife and I took home two puppies around Easter of last year. One was from Panda’s litter, and one from Lucy’s. I wanted to let you know that they are both wonderful dogs. Panda’s pup, who we call Georgia is a truly beautiful girl, calm, and very friendly. Lucy’s Pup, who we call Scarlett is a feisty little fox Red who is tremendous in the field. She is now about 11 months old, and I’ve had her hunting birds 3 times. She finds, watches, and pursues falling birds like a dog who has been doing it her entire life. Last week, she returned 5 of 5 to me, unsolicited. She just gets it.
We love our dogs and have passed your name along to others. Thanks for helping us find two such terrific friends.

Maggie is now 2 yrs old and from a litter of Lucy and Duke!!! Born St. Patty’s day 2011! I see that they will be having another litter soon and wanted others to know that our fox red is so wonderful!!! Her color is amazing too! She has Duke’s robust stature and Lucy’s delicate face. She has a great disposition, loves to play and fetch, and wonderful with our 18 month old grandson.
